I have resorted to spewing craziness to my children in an effort to try to make them listen to me. I totally get this from my mother because if I was ever bad she would say that the “weagon people” were coming to pick me up and take me away. We lived near a food store and people would frequently walk with the shopping cart on my block. I remember as clear as day always getting so scared I would hide. But let me tell you, it worked. I still shake in my boots thinking about it.
